FIDU is committed, together with partners who share its methods and objectives, to verify the conditions of the rule of law and civil liberties in numerous countries, including in particular members of the Council of Europe, the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) and beneficiaries of partnership agreements with the institutions of the European Community.

Among the missions carried out in 2018 and 2019 – always including meetings both with civil society and with government authorities: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Moldova, Tunisia, Ukraine, Mauritania

The outcome of the monitoring and analytical activities are subsequently submitted to international bodies, where FIDU interacts with institutional representatives, such as the European Parliament and the European Commission, the Parliamentary Assemblies of the Council of Europe and the OSCE as well as the UN Human Rights Council.
